Whether you’re having friends over or a stay-at-home family fun night, adding a hot tub game to your soak can make the evening extra special. Hot Tub Ping Pong
This game only requires 2 items: cups and ping pong balls. Set the cups in random places around the edge of your hot tub. Simply take turns tossing the ping pong balls into the cups. You can score the game by the most balls made or by assigning a point value to each cup. Either way, everyone is sure to love it.
Poker
Yes, you can take your favorite poker game into the hot tub. A floating tray and some water proof cards make your hot tub the best poker table you’ve ever experienced. If Go Fish is more your style, you can absolutely use your floating table and waterproof cards for that, too.
Dodge the Duck
This is a fan favorite no matter what age your crowd is. Pick up 5-10 rubber ducks. Let them loose in your hot tub while the jets are running. The goal is to dodge the ducks and avoid being hit. The last person left untouched by a duck is the winner.
What’s the Lyric?
Looking for something a little more low-key? This game can be played while you’re sitting still and enjoying your soak. One person sings the first line in a song. The person next to them sings the next line and play continues around the tub until someone is unable to come up with the next lyric.
Hot Tub Hockey
Select an item to be the “puck.” It could be a small ball, rubber ducky, or any small objects that floats. Divide into two teams. Then put the “puck” in the middle of the tub and use whatever means necessary to get the puck to touch the wall opposite of your team. The only rule is you can’t touch the puck with your hands or body. The first team to 3, wins.
Charades
Moving classic games like charades into the hot tub puts a fun twist on an old game. This is also a great spur of the moment game because it doesn’t require any supplies or advanced preparation.
Hot Tub Tag
This game requires two teams and two unique floating objects, one for each team. The object of the game is to get your item to touch a member of the opposite team before their item touches a member of your team.
Who Is It?
For this game one person thinks of another person who is in the hot tub. The other players ask yes or no questions to figure out who the person was thinking of. The game can be altered to include family members, celebrities, or other people that everyone could guess.
