Drain, drain, drain today…
If you didn’t drain your hot tub for the winter, it’s now the most wonderful time of the year: time to drain your hot tub. If you already own a Jacuzzi®, you know that it has to be drained and refilled every three to four months. Draining and refilling it right around late March to early April will get you through the summer before needing another refill, depending on your hot tub usage. And when the next time comes around, it’ll be nice and hot outside. So, you’ll be able to have some fun with the draining!
Time for a deep clean.
Before you refill your hot tub, take some time to deep clean it. First, make sure all of the debris is out of it. Next, you’ll want to give it a really deep clean to make sure any mildew or mold is removed. Make sure to check everything, including the pumps and valves, for leaks and buildup. Once you know the surface is clean, you can clean the filter and refill your hot tub.
Create the perfect balance.
